Hanna's home exclusive!

Just came back from a fun fun fun early Christmas party at Hanna's house and I'm very excited to share the pictures that I've taken of her new home. Very classy decor indeed.  Actually I'm also very eager to finally be able to try out Poladroid which I recently discovered from another blog. It's super fun but currently can only be used on Mac. Think the windows version will be out really soon. Heh.

Anyway, here are my creations!

Hope you like the pictures and the effect as much as I do! Hanna, I love your house! Do invite us again soon! I wanna play Wii and pig out again! :D

Of good company and food... what's new?

I think it was about 2 weeks ago that I met up with Xueli & Chwan, who just came back from Australia recently. We had some good food (yeah i know i've been feasting) at Crystal Jade. I was introduced to some fantastic dishes, which i can't believe i've been missing out all these while :( I really need to be more adventurous when it comes to food.

Princess Xueli & I

Chwan

Peishan! Limin! This is the dish I was talking about! Cold beancurd and century egg with pork floss. Im not a big fan of century egg but this is like... F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C! Go try please! Xueli, thanks for introducing this to us man! It's gonna be my must-order each time I go Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao now! I still love my xiao long bao best of cos! =D

On another note, when me, PS and Limin went Ding Tai Feng, we were also searching for this dish and tried ordering this century egg dish with garlic which sounded remotely like this one. But... it was kinda different. Hur. Forgot to take a picture of it though.

Somehow every year, I got a picture of the HUUUUGE taka Christmas tree.

Anyways, silly us were trying so hard to take pictures of our reflection in the Christmas tree deco ball. Totally enjoyed myself with u guys! As much as I do for all meetups with all my dearest friends =D

p/s: If u were wondering what's up with the not-so-fantastic picture quality, it's cos they were all taken with my nokia E71. But I still love it anyway!

Counting down to a new beginning

Just another 3 more days to a new start... feelin' a mix of excitement and apprehension. I really need to switch back to work mode, finance and all. End of the long hols & time to start topping up the fast-depleting funds too *bleah* that means no more wakin' up at noon and it's back to squeezing into the train with the morning crowd :(

Wish me luck! (If you know what I'm blabbering about, pls don't mention on the tagboard ok?)

Met up with dear old friends, Peishan & Limin yesterday for some Ding Tai Feng and Canelé. Happiness :) My first time trying the cakes at Canelé! Heard much raves about the pastries there before. We ordered the 2 cakes shown below and they were pricey but absolutely delicious!

Oh man, wedding bells are ringing for 2 of my very good friends tomorrow! Like, time is moving so fast! I'm so so so happy for you guys!!! =D

p/s: How did ya like the polaroid effect of the pictures? Nice eh?? I'd really like to do effects for all my pics but it's really too time-consuming. I hate the blue frame that picasa uses on the pics tho', so ugly! Argh!

A girl can never have enough shoes

Met Xueli, Pam, Hanna for C&K warehouse sale on Sat! Had lunch at Lucky Plaza first before heading down. Not too fond of Lucky Plaza, but there's some pretty good food there!
