Miffy! Wondering why I haven't been updating so regularly? This is the reason why: ![]() Haha that's Miffy, my new friend. Saw him at Pets Village at Suntec and fell in love with him instantly. Didn't need much persuasion by the shop owner before I agreed to buy him. I was told Miffy is a well-behaved rabbit as compared to his friends, and easy to manage too. He's a lionhead (he has more fur on his head), only one and a half months old when I bought him on my birthday. So now he is about two months old. I've been busy playing with him, feeding him and watching him everyday since he arrived at my house. Love watching him scratch himself, groom himself, lying in his cage, munch on his pellets, chew on his hay, brush his bedding away, drink water and all else. ![]() The funny thing about rabbits I've learnt: they seldom sleep. It's true. I haven't seen Miffy close his eyes for more than a minute since he came. He loves to lie in the cage in a ladylike manner, all sprawled on the ground like a persian cat. Cute! ![]() Miffy loves to dash around the house when I let him out and explore dark dark corners. ![]() I've learnt a great deal about rabbits in these short span of two weeks. Young rabbits need not be bathed in water till about 6 months old. Till then, just powder baths will do. They shouldn't be fed carrots till they are older too cos they'll get diarrhoea. When they see you, stand up and stick their nose out of the cage, it means they wanna come out and play, not hungry. ![]() When they run and suddenly hop very high, it means they're happy! I presume Miffy is a happy rabbit since he always jumps very high when I let him out :) Just brought him to trim his nails and feet hair yesterday and boy, were there many envious faces! Customers who stepped into the shop just had to stop and watch Miffy as he lay still while Deshun (the shop owner) was trimming his nails. But I don't think Miffy likes taking car rides. He will roll into a ball and cower at a corner in his cage. ![]() How could anyone not love this little darling? My dad absolutely adores him, and sees him at his cage the moment he comes back from work, brings him out to play even before I wake up. My mom smiles when she sees him hop around, feeds him carrots without asking me. And my sis keeps patting him. Me? Love love love love! P/s: Peishan! Happy 22nd birthday! Hope you had a wonderful celebration in Melbourne! Love ya too! (not less than Miffy) Tuesday, August 15, 2006 @ 9:59 PM
Thank you! It ain't that bad being one year older afterall! Thanks to my family and dear pals who made it memorable! First celebration: 27th HCJC OAC pals ![]() Xueli's mom is such a great cook! Wonderful food and wonderful company made a simple gathering cosy and heart-warming... And thank you xp for organising the gathering! You da lady! Second celebration: Smileys ![]() Dinner at TCC was kinda nice except for the small portion of food. Sorry Ali & Chee Wee for starving you guys! Haven't been to Clarke Quay for some time and boy, how it has transformed! Went to a pub named Asylum (hmmm) and had a mocktail called Ray of Sunshine - just how I want my life to be like - full of sunshine! I love the black Guess watch Yuet chose! Love it love it love it! Won't lose it this time! Thank you Smileys! Third celebration: Stayover with Ying & Shan! ![]() ![]() These silly gals scared me with a tub of ice cream, a candle on it, placed right in the center of the road outside ying's house at night... Thought it was some kinda offering. Haha. Nice surprise though. Had curry puffs, roti prata, hot choc and ice cream. It's like a routine. When we have a stayover at Ying's house, we're bound to gain weight. Played 'the game of life' (it's a board game in case you're wondering) and finally retired to sleep at almost 4am in the morn. And unsurprisingly, I won. Muahaha. Thanks Ying for the pretty white hoops, love 'em! Ahhh... There's nothing like a stay over at Ying's. Fourth celebration: Him ![]() ![]() Dinner at Tony Roma's was superb. The food was wonderful, ambience was great, service was excellent and the toilet was first-class! Haha. I got three nice nice roses and a cake from Prima Deli too! Not forgetting two birthday cards... and Miffy! (More about Miffly later!) Thanks dear, for everything. Fifth celebration: My family ![]() Mom got me a yummy fruit cake also from Prima Deli (not knowing he got me one already) so I have two cakes in my fridge now... Sixth celebration: E&Y gang ![]() This was really a pleasant surprise which totally caught me off-guard. And it definitely works best after a long and tedious simulation exercise at training! Thank you for the surprise you guys! Love the delicious choc cake! And nope, I didn't forget you Huiyi! Thanks for the nice necklace all the way from Perth! And Peishan for the sms too! Once again, a BIG BIG BIG THANK YOU to everybody! Love all of you! :) Happy Birthday also to my fellow August babies: Domina Huiyi Sis Peiyu Simin Xueli Diana Peishan Daddy Monday, August 14, 2006 @ 2:09 AM

Convocation Ball The end of convocation ball marks the end of my university life. It also signifies the start of my career. *shudders* The convo ball was held at Fullerton, one of my favourite hotels. Saw many familiar and unfamiliar faces, some of them I won't be seeing for quite a while I suppose. I got up early in the morning to go to Bedok to style my hair with Viv. It was still looking alright when we got out of the shop but by the time we reached Fullerton, my hair was already in a mess. Curly curly curly... Took photos with some... The collage broken down: I thought the food was pretty good... looks really mouthwatering eh? My fav was the cold plate. The octopus was superb! I missed out the fish and the chicken cos erm... I was busy eating. That's Yuet holding the table number tag. She was supposed to go up on stage to play some game but Chee Wee, being the gentleman he is, offered to help her out. The disc was an effort of the Smiley guys. It contained some of our Kodak moments and best memories. I must really give it up to them for putting so much hard work into it (though I could only view half the disc). There was even our pictures and signatures on it! Great job guys! The only 3 gals from the Smiley gang that went... The Smiley guys Me & the guys I must say that I did enjoy myself during the ball. It was a definitely a good way to wrap things up. So that's all for convo ball! :) Monday, August 07, 2006 @ 12:46 AM
New phone Yay!!! I love my new orange Nokia 6280! The orange one just came out recently! *Grins* Been waiting for awhile for the price to fall and thanks to Singapore, there's a $41 discount at Singtel this week! Hehe. It's great to be using a Nokia phone again. I shall not be duped by the nice outlook of other phones anymore. It's gonna be just Nokia from now on. No more chipped thumb nail and reluctance when replying smses! He's supposed to get the same phone today too but cos of some dead pixels on his current phone, it can't be traded in. So he's probably gonna get it tomorrow. Gonna sleep now otherwise won't be able to stay awake during training later! ![]() |
