Finally! In less than 24 hrs, I'll be on the plane to London with my boy! The excitement of going on a holiday for so long can hardly be described. It's gonna be a month of all play and no work! Whoopieeee! Planning the trip has been really difficult cos of all the complexities involved. It's research and more research. And also bombarding those who've already gone before with questions. You gotta experience it to know it. Many things are still unsettled at this point but it'll all work out, I'm sure. Thanks to all who've shared their experiences and good information with me. Really appreciate it. And to those who need information in future: I'll gladly share with you mine. We're gonna be covering 2 wonders of the world this time (Leaning tower of Pisa and the Eiffel tower)! In case you're wondering, we'll be visiting London, France (Paris), Spain (Barcelona), Italy (Pisa, Florence, Rome, Venice, Milan), Switzerland (Zurich, Lauterbrunnen, Bern, Liechtenstein). Our last stop will be Loughborough (UK) where my dear pal, Ying, stays! Can't wait to chill out with the gal in the countryside. What a way to end the trip. I suppose I'm most looking forward to going to Barcelona cos everyone I asked who went there before tells me it's a must-go. But it's always been a dream for me to visit Switzerland cos in my impression, it's a really beautiful place where the air is really fresh and there're lots of snow, mountains and streams. It's been a long time since I got in touch with nature and I'm thrilled that I finally am going there. And in less than 2 days, I'll get to give Ying a big big hug cos she's so sweeeeet! She's comin' all the way to London (one and a half hrs by train) early in the morn just to meet me. Who can ask for a better friend than this babe? It's a good 3 weeks and I'll post some nice pix up for all to see once I'm back. In the meanwhile, those who are still havin exams, hang in there. Those who are workin, don't stress yourselves out. I promise to think of y'all when I'm travelling. *Grin* Just took several videos of my bunny so I can watch them when I miss him. Sigh. Anyway, I'll be back in 3 weeks! Enjoy yourselves boys and gals! Take care and keep safe! |
