I love weekends!
I thought it'd be a boring Fri this week but turned out to be a really enjoyable night. Xp and I hesitated for so long before finally deciding where to go.
Went Wala Wala again thanks to xp's bro. Turns out that we had quite a lot of company. Didn't know most of the people who were invited but it certainly was nice to see a few familiar faces. Happened that the gf of one of xp's bro is from my department at work. Singapore is small, indeed. Not many places to hang out apparently, haha.
Thankfully, the live band was much better this week - which also meant it was alot more crowded. I was really impressed with one of the band members - a director from one of the big four! - is or was, I'm unsure. Hah.. interesting.
I have to admit I'm a lousy drinker. One cup of whisky n ginger ale plus a little magarita and I'm kinda groggy. Terrible eh? But like xp says, it's good to get a little drunk once in awhile.
Woke up late on Sat and went to catch a movie straight after. Go watch The Pursuit of Happyness if you are wondering why it's spelt like that. The pace of the movie is a little slow and it can get a little depressing - it made me cry twice! But Will Smith is simply SUPERRRRB! Be inspired after that. If you think life is hard on you, think twice.
Wow! Chow Yun Fat is starring in the next Pirates of the Carribean! Can't wait! Am I slow?
