Work sucks, I know.

It's been a exhausting and arduous 2 weeks. Late nights and long working hours are the norm this period. I don't think I can ever get use to it.

Things are made worse by having nasty clients. One black sheep is enough to spoil ya mood even when the others are really nice. The incident went like this: I was supposed to obtain the salaries of the staff from the HR manager to do some work on it. I knew it wasn't gonna be an easy task getting the salaries cos the HR woman is damn hard to deal with. We get scolded by her everytime we try. But it's ok if the she didn't wanna give it to me. She had to accuse me of keeping a copy of the senior management's salaries last time when I went in to do payroll during interims. I was fuming mad! I stormed off after giving her a very amused look and saying a big 'I DID NOT!' and 'WHY WOULD I WANNA KEEP?'. That woman's IMPOSSIBLE. We are the auditors!! We have all the rights to check on payroll! Anyway, we don't check specifically on certain staff and neither do we keep a copy of their salaries. The money ain't ours either. She even raised her voice at my senior who's pregnant when she went to reason with her. Absolutely disrespectful!

We were already frustrated in a mad rush trying to finish our work and we had to deal with people like this. Argh. Blood boil. Does she think it's fun to work till the wee hours of the morn?

Sigh, but again, I've heard of colleagues who faced worse clients. So I shall be thankful the clients I met so far are all pretty nice, with a few exceptions.

As Von says, we should stock up on all the love we need today to sustain us for the whole of next week. Yeah, sometimes you will really feel so sick of working, of waking up early in the morn and not knowing what freakin' time you'll lie on your bed again. These days, I go home, bathe and fall asleep instantaneously. It's hard work in this line.

I can't wait for CNY to come. Can't wait to meet the NY gals and the ATC ppl. Can't wait to go UK in May too! I wanna go, stay there and not come back to work. Naive.
