A few weeks ago...

There was one crazy day when I was out till about 4am... Had dinner at a Thai restaurant in City Hall. Then we went to TCC for some coffee.

After that, JT and friends brought Kim & I to an open air roof top pub at Odeon Towers in Bugis but there was no seats (thank God for that). I really like the concept of the pub but it was simply too overwhelming for me and Kim, the fact that the ratio of caucasians to locals was like probably 8:1. The ambience was great though. Too bad I didn't take any pictures there. But it was too embarrassing to be snapping photos at such a posh place with so many young and hip and funky lawyers, bankers and blah (from what I heard, that's the usual crowd).

So, we head off in search of another chill-out location (yes, they simply refuse to go home) and finally settled down at Chjimes. I was so full and exhausted by then.

Some nice photos to share though.

That's the guy (and his friend) responsible for the very late night out. The party people. Not me.

JT ordered rose bud tea and besides being very interesting, it tasted really good! Perhaps I'm suaku but I was really quite amazed at the container. It had a 'squasher' which you can push down and the rose buds will be squashed so that the fragrance infiltrates into the tea. Then, you can pour the tea out and drink it. You ought to try it next time you go TCC!

Kim had choc mint mocha which was also yummy.

And that's my affragato (think that's the name, can't remember). It's choc ice cream in expresso with whipped cream and choc chips *drools*. Totally sinful. Kim kept saying it tasted like the canned meat that goes with porridge. Haha. But I like the cold ice cream in the expresso cos there's a wonderful mix of sweet and bitter. Good things sure come in small portions.

Chijimes... Looks a little spooky eh? Can just picture a witch riding on her broomstick / a bat flying and the silloutte on the moon... Hehe

Guess what this is? Bet you didn't even in your wildest dreams think that it's the cover of a menu!

Right, that's all for now folks! :D
