Camping at East Coast Park

After watching the 2 most exciting matches of the World Cup, we were off to the ECP to camp! Yes, at 5am in the morning. Crazy? :P

I love camping (as most of you should know)! And I didn't really wanna lose that love.

So, we bought a tent quite some time ago from the army market but only put it to use twice. Once in ECP & once in Sentosa.

'Sentosa?!', you ask. Yeah. Unknown to most, the stars, seen from the white, sandy, man-made beaches of Sentosa, can be really beautiful at night. Can easily beat those in Ubin! No mosquitoes too!

(Disclaimer: If you don't see any stars or get bitten, it's not my fault)

So that's my suggestion to all. Sentosa in the wee hours of the morning! It's fabulous!

Back to ECP, when we reached there, it was pitch dark at the camping areas and we were extremely exhausted.

Good thing ours was a dome tent, not an A-frame. Else I'd have given up and slept on the ground. Haha

But everyone who pitched their tents earlier were already sound asleep. There were really a lot of tents there and we had a hard time scouting for a good spot to pitch ours.

Shall not scare everyone with my dark eye rings!

We didn't wake up till noon the next day.

This photo is stitched! Yup! 4 photos became 1.

After unpitching, we headed down to Changi Village for some famous nasi lemak. But alas! The queue was so long. The aunties were extremely slow.

We queued for 20 min before we got to savour the big fat juicy chicken wing. Phew!
