Just one of those days

He forgot abt our 17th mth... again. Grr... I discovered I'm real particular abt this sort of things (I know it sounds silly). Booooo.

Yesterday, I boarded a feeder bus on my way home from JP, when the bus reached the stop before the one I was alighting at, an old man came aboard.

The bus driver, who had a really stern-looking face (I looked at the rear-view mirror to see who he was), actually waited for the old man to be seated before he moved off.

It was something really trivial but yet it left a deep impression on me. And it also made me realise there are actually nice bus drivers around.

Nice isn't a word we usually use to describe bus drivers, as we all know, and I'm sure most have had their fair share of bad attitude and temper shown by bus drivers. So, all's not lost for SBS. Haha.

But of cos, there's not really a need to greet every single passenger that comes on board and say bye to every single passenger that gets off at the interchange - which is exactly what a particular bus driver (who also drives the feeder bus) does without fail everytime. No kidding.

...........................................................................................

I just caught the premiere of Season 2 of Project Runway (didn't catch the first season). I love the show! Some of the designers are really impressive.

It brought back memories of the times when I was trying to do fashion design in the Art Elective Program (AEP) back in secondary school days.

Unfortunately, as much as I love designing, drawing nice clothes and all, I suck at it. Totally. I can't do fashion design. I may have the ideas but I just can't put them on paper.

I don't know why but I just can't draw those cool elongated figures that are one or two head's length longer than the normal human figure, much less draw lovely clothes on them. How sad.

There was this mock fashion show that my AEP teacher organised and we were supposed to use different materials to come up with a costume and showcase it.

Diana, my partner, and I worked on it the whole night at my house but in the end it still turned out to be a flop. Our costume was torn before we finished the walk. Gosh. I'd love to design clothes again if I have the time.

Talking about reality shows, I love watching reality shows because they are inspiring.

I don't know exactly what the definition of a reality show is but in my opinion, reality shows are shows that depict what can be achieved in reality by people who were just ordinary folks.

Everything is very real, the emotions, behavior, the people who take part in it and the goals they set out to achieve.

They help people like us believe that dreams can come true as long as we are willing to pursue them.

So pals, don't give up on your dreams (even if you are stuck as an auditor for the next three years)! :S

May your dreams come true! :)
